Randal Og 0:14      Barryroe 1:10

It was Randal Og versus Barryroe in the first round of the Junior B Hurling Championship was played in Ardfield on Sunday evening last.

There were a few wides early in the game before Barryroe opened the scoring with a point in the second minute. 

They added another two minutes later. Sean Daly opened Randals scoring account with a point but barryroe got one a minute later to make it 0:03 to 0:01

Points from Seamus Crowley and Sean Daly gave Randal’s the lead for the first time, early in the second quarter.

 Another point from Patrick Crowley and three from Sean Daly over the next ten minutes saw Randals leading by five. 

Two Barryroe points coming up to half time made it 0:08 to 0:05 at the half time whistle

Seamus Crowley, Patrick Crowley and Seadhna Crowley maintained the lead over the next twenty minutes and Barryroe getting two more points in between to make it 0:14 to 1:10 going into injury time. 

Randals were put under immense pressure by Barryroe and a goal was conceded in the dying seconds of the game to give Randal’s the narrowest of wins
