Randal Og 1-10     Argideen Rangers 1-10

On Sunday February 27^th, Randal’s met Argideen Rangers in Timoleague in the first round of the Carbery Junior A Football League. A strong westerly breeze gave Randal’s an advantage in the first half but Argideen were first on the score sheet with a point. Sean Daly followed up from a free. Argideen regained the lead again with a point but Sean Daly followed p again to make it 0-02 after 15 minutes.

Sean was on target again from play with Cathal Duggan added another and then Peter Collins sent over a free coming up to the half way mark, making it 0-05 to 0-04 at the half time whistle.

Randal’s were playing against the wind in the second half but an early goal from Sean Daly settled matters down. Argideen were on top for most of the third quarter and with the advantage of the wind they went 1-10 to 1-06 into the lead.

Randal’s came back strong in the closing minutes with three more points from Sean Daly and a late equaliser from Seadhna Crowley left it 1-10 a piece at the full time whistle.
