Latest information is that the draws for the junior B hurling and football championships will be made at County Board meeting on next Tuesday night. 19th March.

Football - nine teams
Round 1 - four games, A B C D (E a bye)
Round 2 - ( i ) loser B v loser C
( ii ) loser D v E
Round 3 - loser ( ii ) v loser A
There will be seven teams in semi-final draw which will be made at a later date, only a team that won their
first game can receive a bye here.
Hurling - eleven teams
Round 1 - five games A B C D E ( F a bye )
Round 2 ( i ) loser A v loser B
( ii ) loser C v loser D
( iii ) loser E v F *
* if team F beats loser E in ( iii ) loser E exits the championship and ( i ), ( ii ) and ( iii ) winners together with the five first round winners all advance to the quarter -finals - eight teams
if loser E beats team F in ( iii ) then team F plays the winner ( i ) in Round 3 and the winners of ( ii ), ( iii ) and Round 3 together with the five Round 1 winners advance to the quarter-finals.
