Four points in succession, over the next ten minutes, put Castletownbere into a 0-5 to 0-2 lead but this was wiped out by Daniel O'Sullvan who, fielding a high ball at edge of the square, belted home the first of his two goals.
Points from Eoin O'Sullivan and Ronan Daly put Randals into the lead. Castletownbere came back to equalise, but another pointed free by Gerard Lynch made it 1-5 to 0-7 at half time.
It was a low scoring second half. Castletownbere got two early points, to regain the lead.
Seamus Crowley made it all level again. Castletownbere went ahead going into the last quarter, but Gerard Lynch was on target again to make it 1-7 to 0-10 minutes later.
Then Daniel O'Sullivan struck again, finishing off from a long range Gerard Lynch free for his second and decisive goal.
