Randals were away to Glengarriff in junior football league match on Saturday evening last,

It was an enjoyable high scoring game with goals galore in the second half.

Glengarriff got off to a good start, getting the first score after three minutes. Ronan Daly got the equaliser but the home side made it 0-3 to 0-1 with eleven minutes gone.

Ian Crowley made a great run through the Glengarriff defence, laying off the ball to Barry O'Driscoll who sent over Randals' second point, adding another from a free a minute later,to make it level again.

Randals were dominant for the remainder of the first half with scores coming from Seamus Crowley, Barry O'Driscoll, Patrick Lynch, Barry O'Driscoll again, Patrick Lynch again, and Gerard Lynch who sent over from a free.

Glengarriff got a point in the twenty seventh minute and it was 0-9 to 0-4 at half time.

Martin Murphy increased Randals' lead in the opening minute of the second half and three minutes later came the first goal of the game, finished off by Daniel O'Sullivan.

Points from Gerard Lynch and Ian Crowley, with Glengarriff getting two back and it was it was 1-12 to 0-6 going into the last quarter.

A  Glengarriff goal changed the the complexion of the game for a while, leaving only six points between them, but Randals were back quickly and a point from Patick O'Donnell and three more from Eoin O'Sullivan more than restored their lead.

A goal by Patrick O'Donnell, who was creating problems for Glengarriff upfront,  put the issue beyond doubt but there was more to come.

Daniel O'Sullivan and Patrick O'Donnell finished the game with two goals each to their credit  and closing points came from Eoin O'Sullivan and Denis Lynch.

Glengarriff got through for another goal just before the final whistle.
