Randals were at home to Glengarriffe for football league game played on Friday 9th June, in difficult weather, with wind and rain sweeping across the field, 

Randals, with the advantage of the elements, did all the first half scoring. An early point from Shane Patterson was followed by two more from the Lynch brothers, Gerard and Patrick, by the seventh minute. A crucial goal scored by Seadhna Crowley and a point by Conor O'Donovan made it 1-4 to 0-0 at the break.

Glengarriffe took over the scoring for most of the second half. They opened with two points and added a goal in the sixth minute. Four more points in succession put them ahead 1-6 to 1-4 going into the closing stages.

With minutes to go, Seadhna Crowley, against the wind, sent over from a free and Gearoid White grabbed the equaliser close to the final whistle.
